Who can attend?
Q: Can my spouse or partner attend?
A: Yes, absolutely! You are welcome to invite friends, family and co-workers along to PSA21, including all social activities. They will simply need to register their attendance, pay the registration fee, and RSVP their attendance to the social activities. More information about the program will be available online soon.
COVID-19 impacts on PSA21?
Q: What happens if I am unable to attend due to COVID-19?
A: The health and safety of conference attendees is our highest priority. The Pharmaceutical Society of Australia are mindful of the health risks posed by COVID-19, and the importance of following official medical advice with respect to social distancing, practicing good hygiene and staying at home when unwell. PSA request that any delegate who is feeling unwell or has cold or flu like symptoms, or who may have been in contact with someone with COVID-19, to not attend the conference. If, on medical grounds, you are unable to attend the conference, you must cancel your attendance in writing by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: Will the full PSA21 conference be available as a virtual conference?
A: The PSA21 Organising Committee are currently working on a program for the virtual event which will be launched in early 2021.
Travelling to Australia
Q: I’m not an Australian citizen. Do I need special documentation to enter Australia and attend this conference?
A: Entry requirements vary depending on your country of citizenship. To find out whether you need a visa, please visit the Department of Immigration "Visa Finder" website.
Q: Can I receive a discount on my travel fare?
A: Unfortunately, we cannot provide a travel fare discount.
Q: I only plan on attending one day of the conference. Can I pay for one day only?
A: Yes, simply purchase a day registration. 2 day registration options are also available.
Q: Several of my colleagues and I are registering for the conference. Is there a special group rate?
A: No, only individual registration pricing is available. However you will be able to book as a group.
Q: I can no longer attend and wish to cancel my registration.
A: Please refer to the PSA cancellation policy
Abstract and workshop submissions
Information on how to submit abstracts can be found on the abstract page.
CPD Points will be available for all sessions, ensure you scan your name badge when you enter and exit each program session.
Accommodation and getting around
Q: Do I need to book my own hotel room?
A: Yes. We have negotiated special rates with the Hyatt Regency Sydney in Darling Harbour. You can make a reservation when registering to attend PSA21.
Q: What tourist attractions are available in Sydney?
A: For local advice on what to see and do in Sydney during your visit, please visit the local tourist information center website.

Joining instructions will be sent to registered attendees by email one week before the PSA21 Conference, which will have specific information about the conference and exhibition open and close times, registration instructions for delegates and presenters and venue information.
